    $4,500 Program Fee

    • $35 State Technology Fee - TEA required - due with the return of the offer
    • $250 Enrollment Fee - due with Orientation registration

    Payment Plans

    • Paid Up Front = 5% Discount off Program Fee 
    • 15-Month Plan = Program fee divided into 15 equal monthly payments
      • First payment due one month after orientation. 
      • Any remaining balance when Phase 2 begins may be paid through the district's payroll deduction. 
      • All fees are non-refundable and must be paid in full before a candidate is recommended for a Standard certificate. 

    TExES Exam Fee

    • Approximately $120 for each test is paid directly to the testing vendor.

    Probationary/Intern Certificate

    • $78 - paid to and issued by SBEC

    National Criminal Background Check

    • $37.75 fingerprinting fee to SBEC when applying for a probationary certificate and $10.00 for Morpho Trust Services

    Standard Certificate

    • $78 issued by SBEC

    Additional Fees (if applicable)

    Phase 1 Extension Fee (Due if Phase 1 is not completed within 2 cohort cycles.)

    • $500 (This fee is non-refundable.)

    Updater Fee (Due if a participant returns to the program after dropping or being dropped)

    • $500 NON-REFUNDABLE plus $250 re-enrollment fee

    Phase 2 Extension Fee (Due if the participant does not complete Phase 2 requirements during the Internship or if the Administrator recommends an extension after the first year of internship.)

    • $200/month - due if the candidate does not complete Phase 2 requirements by the deadline.
    • $2,000 NON-REFUNDABLE - due if the candidate's internship is unsuccessful and the program and the campus administrator deem it appropriate to complete a second internship.

    Out-of-Region 11 Intern Fee

    • Up to $2,000 (if the internship is outside of Region 11) - paid during Phase 2 and can be paid out with monthly payments
